Particle size graded capturing of inhaler aerosols.
Testing of drug aerosol settlement distribution in the artificial lung.
Specially designed for aerodynamic characteristic determination of inhaled fine particles, multi-stage cascade impactor consists of smart pump, pressure detector, cascade impactor, pre-separator (DPIs), induction port and accessories. It complies with instrument qualifications of aerodynamic characteristic determination of inhaled fine particles in USP, Ph.Eur. and ChP 2020.
Contain 7-stage impactors and micro-orifice collector (MOC), easy to open, retrieve samples from collection cups and prepare for next test.
With 8 removable collection cups, for easy cleaning and replacement.
Used for APSD and DDU testing for MDIs/DPIs/Nebulizers. Powder can be tested with a pre-separator, effectively removing coarse particles of 10-15 microns.
The collection cup is the impact surface placed on a tray which could facilitate sampling and directly under nozzles. Tray facilitates efficient sample collection.
