Aerodynamic characteristic determination of inhaled aerosols/sprays/powder aerosols.
Eight-stage Andersen cascade impactor is a multi-stage, porous impact sampler for aerodynamic characteristics determination for inhaled fine particles, consisting of multi-stage cascade impactors and membrane in the last stage. When determining inhaled aerosols and powder aerosols, the top cover is connected to artificial larynx and generator by an adapter. When determining powder aerosols, a pre-separator should be mounted to the top layer to collect large quantities of non-inhalable powder particles. It conforms to USP and Ph. Eur. as well as aerodynamic characteristic determination of inhaled fine particles of ChP 2020.
Pre-separator ensures accurate separation of coarse particles.
Sampling flow rate: 28.3L/min (optional 60L/min, 90L/min).
Low cost and easy operation.
Effectively eliminates particle rebound and entrainment.
Compliant with USP, Ph.Eur. and ChP.
