APSD tests for MDI/DPI/Sprays.
Model HRH-ACI283 Eight-stage Andersen cascade impactor is a multi-stage, porous impact sampler for aerodynamic characteristics determination for inhaled fine particles, consisting of multi-stage cascade impactors and membrane in the last stage. When testing MDIs and nasal sprays, the top cover is connected to the induction port and the inhaler by an adapter. When testing DPIs, a pre-separator should be mounted to the top layer to collect large quantities of non-inhalable powder particles. It conforms to USP and Ph. Eur. as well as aerodynamic characteristic determination of inhaled fine particles of ChP 2020.
Pre-separator ensures accurate separation of coarse particles.
Sampling flow rate:28.3L/min (optional 60L/min, 90L/min).
Low cost and easy operation.
Effectively prevent particle bounce and re-entrainment
USP, Ph. Eur. and ChP compliant.
