APSD tests for MDI/DPI/Sprays.
Eight-stage Andersen cascade impactor is a multi-stage, porous impact sampler for aerodynamic characteristics determination for inhaled fine particles, consisting of multi-stage cascade impactors and membrane in the last stage. When determining MDI and DPI, the top cover is connected to the induction port and generator via an adapter. When determining DPI, a pre-separator should be mounted to the top to collect large quantities of non-inhalable powder particles. It conforms to USP and Ph. Eur. as well as aerodynamic characteristic determination of inhaled fine particles of ChP 2020.
Pre-separator ensures accurate separation of coarse particles.
Sampling flow rate: 28.3L/min (optional 60L/min, 90L/min).
Low cost and easy operation.
Effectively eliminates particle rebound and entrainment.
Compliant with USP, Ph.Eur. and ChP.
Main components: 9 stainless steel impactors, 9 stainless steel collection cups, 1 induction port, 1 pre-separator;
